‘A single sunbeam is enough to drive away many shadows’

AJP is a professional theatre company with a reputation for delivering high quality productions at affordable prices; however, we are also a not-for-profit CIC and want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supports us – our audiences, venues, our brilliant army of volunteers and the local businesses that have engaged with us this year. Without your support we couldn’t do what we do.

Throughout the last four years we have helped reduce isolation and loneliness within our local community, supported grass-roots venues, encouraged community cohesion and raised over £4000 for local and national NHS charities. The support of local businesses has enabled us to put on more shows and reach out into the wider community – we took our production of ‘Oh What a Lovely War’ to North Wales, and an international adventure may be on the schedule for 2025!

So, we thought we’d take some time to introduce those businesses to you, along with the diverse products and services they offer.

Minuteman Press Redditch have supported us since the very beginning, printing publicity for our shows…even turning up at one venue to hand deliver some extra programmes when we’d ran out! They are absolute stars, if you need print and design with a local focus then head to their office. Based in central Redditch and long established, they offer design and print solutions with a friendly local focus, but as part of a national network they have the capability to deliver for any businesses needs.

“There aren’t many communities that can boast a professional performing arts company in their midst and Minuteman Press Redditch is proud to have worked with Aunty Jen Productions from its earliest days. AJP regularly brings murder, mayhem and mystery to local stages as well traditional fun and games with its pantos – not to mention education and culture with their own take on the Shakespeare classics. Introducing younger audiences to live performance and making the arts more accessible, and affordable, for all ages broadens our horizons, enriches our lives and generally adds a bit of light relief to the stresses and worries of our everyday lives. Keep up the great work Jen and the gang!”

Home Instead

One of the reasons we started AJP was to help bring people out of isolation after the various lockdowns…and it means a lot to us that Home Instead are one of our supporters! They are a premium quality homecare provider who offer a range of homecare options to clients-from companionship and home help to specialist Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Cancer, Neurological & Recovery care and more.

AP Morgan Estate Agents

AP Morgan reinvest into the communities they serve. As well as supporting us, they have been a long-term supporter of Friends of Isaac’s Food Bank.

Established in 2007, AP Morgan Estate Agents focus on delivering top quality service and customer care to their clients. In the 17 years they have been established they have grown to 4 offices covering the north Worcestershire and south & west Birmingham areas. They know their local markets well and can help their clients achieve the best possible value from selling their property.

Budget Shipping Containers

From a storage container to hold our many costumes and props (saving Jen’s garage!) to providing goodies for panto, Budget Shipping Containers are another company who have supported us from the beginning.

“Supporting Aunty Jen Productions is so much more than investing in the Arts. Jennifer Rigby and team deliver a huge amount of good for the communities they serve, delivering accessible, professional quality theatre, bringing life into under-used village halls & community venues, affordable children’s workshops and they have worked with local food banks to provide Christmas pantomimes for families, bringing some additional Christmas magic to those in their communities that really need it.”
